Every InterComp version, newest first.

0.11.3

17 October 2026

IW-3A can now limit, and IW-DS gains a gentle 2:1.

  • COMP | LIMIT under the IW-3A title. LIMIT starts at the same point but holds peaks down much harder, at roughly 6 to 9:1 instead of about 4:1, and lets go a little faster. The switch crossfades, and auto gain follows it.
  • IW-DS's ratios are now 2, 4, 6, 10 and NUKE. 2:1 is the gentlest, for levelling a vocal before IW-3A.
  • Saved projects and presets open as they were, with IW-3A in COMP. If you automated IW-DS's ratio with 0.10.0 to 0.11.2, re-draw that lane: the list of ratios grew.

0.11.2

16 October 2026

Two preset fixes. Nothing about the sound changed.

  • Names that differ only in characters a file name cannot hold, such as Vox a/b and Vox a:b, now save as two presets instead of one replacing the other.
  • The star after a changed preset's name appears at once when you change a control.

0.11.1

InterComp now comes as an Audio Unit as well, so Logic Pro can see it. Nothing about the sound changed.

  • Your host treats the Audio Unit as a different plug-in from the VST3, so a project moved across needs setting up again. Presets carry over.
  • Installing by hand: a symlinked Audio Unit is never found, so copy the bundle.

0.11.0

16 October 2026

Parallel compression built in, and gentler defaults.

  • A new MIX knob blends the untouched input with the compressed signal, from 0 to 100%. Still zero latency, so the blend never smears or combs.
  • A new instance starts with IW-76's DRIVE, IW-3A's PEAK REDUCTION and IW-DS's DRIVE at their minimums, so it barely touches a track until you dial it in.
  • Saved sessions and presets open exactly as they were, with MIX at 100%.

0.10.0

16 October 2026

A third character: IW-DS. The left half can now be IW-76 or IW-DS, a modern character compressor that goes from gentle levelling to all-out squash.

  • Click the dim name in the left half's title to switch. It crossfades, so you can switch while playing, and each model keeps its own settings.
  • IW-DS has ratios 4, 6, 10 and NUKE, level-neutral DRIVE, and DIST, SAT and WARMTH switches.
